### Pipeline Overview
The pipeline in PAI offers powerful tracking of potential revenue:
- **Data Source**: The pipeline data is derived from reported estimate versions within projects
- **Opportunity Reporting**: Each project designates one estimate version as the "reported" version for pipeline tracking
- **Filtering Capabilities**: Users can filter any column by any data point to create custom views
- **Revenue Forecasting**: Combines estimate amounts with probability percentages to project likely revenue
### Default Pipeline Views
The Pipeline module offers four pre-configured views:
1. **All Opportunities**: Shows the complete set of opportunities without any filters #oppertunties
2. **Pipeline View**: Displays only actively bidding projects
- Excludes approved, canceled, and abandoned projects
- Focuses on current sales opportunities
3. **Approved View**: Shows only projects with approved status
- Helps track confirmed revenue
1. **Canceled View**: Displays only canceled or abandoned projects
- Useful for analyzing lost opportunities
### Opportunity Management
Within each project, you can manage opportunity details:

- **Expected Close Date**: Define when you expect the opportunity to close
- **Lead Source**: Track how the opportunity was generated
