# Sales Module #modules #sales #crm #pipeline The Sales Module in PAI provides comprehensive tools for managing client relationships and tracking sales opportunities. This module consists of two main components: Client CRM and Pipeline. ## Accessing the Sales Module To access the Sales Module: 1. Click "Sales" in the main navigation menu 2. Choose between "Clients" and "Pipeline" in the sub-navigation 3. This section allows you to maintain detailed records of clients and their associated contacts. ### Client Record Management To add a new client to your CRM: 1. Use the "Add Client" button to create a new client record 2. Provide the following information: - **Client Name**: Typically the company name or individual name for direct-to-consumer clients - **Client Address**: Full business address information - **Logo**: Optional upload of the client's logo for visual identification - **Industry**: Select the client's industry from the dropdown menu - **Notes**: Any additional information relevant to the client relationship > [!note] > The client information will automatically populate the "To:" field in estimate print views shared with the client ![[create-client-crm-action.gif]] ### Integrated Client Management PAI's client management is deeply integrated throughout the application: - **Project Creation**: You can create new client records during the project creation process - **Contextual Contact Management**: Add client contacts directly from project documents like call sheets - **Contact Suggestions**: When searching for client contacts to add to project documents, PAI prioritizes contacts from the current project's client record - **Centralized Database**: All client and contact information is synchronized across the entire application ### Client Record Details When you select a client record, you'll have access to four main tabs: 1. **Details Tab**: View and edit the client's core information 2. **Contacts Tab**: Manage all contacts associated with this client - Add new contacts with their communication details - Edit existing contact information - Include title information (e.g., CEO, Internal Producer) 3. **Projects Tab**: View all projects assigned to this client - Quick access links to each project - Overview of project status and key details 4. **Opportunities Tab**: Reference all sales opportunities associated with this client - See current and historical opportunity data ## Pipeline Module The Pipeline module provides a comprehensive view of your organization's sales opportunities and serves as a forecasting tool for revenue planning. ### Pipeline Overview The pipeline in PAI offers powerful tracking of potential revenue: - **Data Source**: The pipeline data is derived from reported estimate versions within projects - **Opportunity Reporting**: Each project designates one estimate version as the "reported" version for pipeline tracking - **Filtering Capabilities**: Users can filter any column by any data point to create custom views - **Revenue Forecasting**: Combines estimate amounts with probability percentages to project likely revenue ### Default Pipeline Views The Pipeline module offers four pre-configured views: 1. **All Opportunities**: Shows the complete set of opportunities without any filters #oppertunties 2. **Pipeline View**: Displays only actively bidding projects - Excludes approved, canceled, and abandoned projects - Focuses on current sales opportunities 3. **Approved View**: Shows only projects with approved status - Helps track confirmed revenue 1. **Canceled View**: Displays only canceled or abandoned projects - Useful for analyzing lost opportunities ### Opportunity Management Within each project, you can manage opportunity details: - **Opportunity Owner**: Assign responsibility for the opportunity - **Probability**: Set the likelihood of winning the project (0-100%) - **Expected Close Date**: Define when you expect the opportunity to close - **Lead Source**: Track how the opportunity was generated - **Project Type**: Categorize the type of production work > [!tip] > Update opportunity probability regularly based on client communications to keep your revenue forecasts accurate. ### Revenue Projection The Pipeline module provides financial projection capabilities: - **Expected Revenue**: Calculated by multiplying the estimate total by the probability percentage - **Aggregation**: Total expected revenue across all opportunities - **Filtering**: Filter revenue projections by owner, lead source, project type, client, etc using the filtering function found in [[PAI Tables]] ## Related Topics - [[Projects & Estimates|Projects and Estimates]] - [[Campaigns|Campaigns]] - [[Staff & Contacts|Contacts Management]] © 2025 PAI Tech, Inc.
